I have the same thing except my back is really painful weakness in my pelvis and legs, when I'm driving down the road and it's bumpy and vibrates my feet I loose all feeling of my feet like I don't have them. It's extremely scary! I've had MRI done on my back and have degenerative disc disease but the problem isn't coming from my back. Also having balance issues and vision issues as well Dr thinks I have Multiple Sclerosis waiting for MRI to be done on my brain. Seek a neurologist, don't take it when the Drs blow you off. Keep searching for a Dr that will help you. Much luck, you're not alone! I've also done vitamin B tests and vitamin D tests they were all normal and I also did the nerve tests all normal. But I want to rip my annoying skin off some days and somedays it's not so bad. I was prescribed Amitryptiline (spelling probably not correct lol) it's an amazing medicine that I noticed a huge difference while taking it!

I've had tetni from low calcium after having my thyroid removed, I'm also having the exact symptoms that this person is having. You can feel your legs with low calcium. Infact low calcium numbness is hardly noticeable. And one day of having low calcium I was in ICU it usually doesn't last to long before it's a severe problem and you're in the emergency room. My calcium is completely normal now vitamin D and B are normal as well Dr think I have MS.

Ive had pins and needles in my toes feet legs and hands for 3 weeks now, after a period of severe spasms in the back of my legs. I also get random muscle spasms in my rib area and today the pain was very severe. I have not seen a doctor yet so I do not know what this could be. I am quite frightened as I have looked on the internet and MS has come up with the symptons I have. I do have inflammatory arthritis and I am in remission with that at present. I have been waking up with aches and pains in my upper body the last 2 weeks and feel very fatigued. I am still working as a nurse but find the shifts hard on my legs as it is always busy. Can anyone give me an idea what this could be.

hello! im atikah, ive experienced the exact symptoms as you. the doctors figured it out after a week... you need to do lots of health screening because people do not understand it as it is rare! it can't be hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism when it might be hypoparathyroidism or hyperparathyroidism. i was suspected to have hypoparathyroidism when my immune system damages the thyroid glands but since my PTH went back to normal, im left with being hypocalcemia. Im not sure my thyroid glands are still safe. still investigatig what are the causes of hypocalcemia. but they know its autoimmune. please be check if you are lack of calcium. same symptoms man. its really painful, lethargy, abnormal heartbeat, dehydration, cramps, spasms, tetany, pins and needles, numbness. im still unstable.

I know this post was over a year ago, but did you ever find any answers? My issues seem similar. Starting in April, my legs and arms would go numb at night or anytime I lied down for a long period of time. It wouldn't matter which position I was in. There have been a few times my scalp would even go numb. I remember waking up to a feeling of a cold rush going up my neck and then the numbness. It always stopped when I got up though. This happened almost nightly for months, it is October now, and it only seems to happen just a couple days before I start my period I have noticed. I also remember right before all this started back in April, I had a super sharp pain in my lower right pelvic/ovary area that I had never experienced before. It was so excruciating that I cried out. I was certain it was all related due to the timing. I went to the gyno and they did not find anything. However, I still have a slight dull pain in my ovary area that is ongoing. It doesn't really hurt, it's just a strange feeling. I go back again in a couple weeks for my yearly.

When this all started, I had standard blood tests run and nothing came back. (However, my B12 was low but still in average range). So I take vitamins now. Also, I went to my acupuncturist and they did their own testing, and to be honest, I trust them way more than I trust these doctors who never have any answers. What came up on both the muscle testing as well as the body scan they did by machine was issues relating to my female reproductive system, kidney and blood, and cardiovascular system. The top things that came up on the scan were all heart related (aeortic aneurism, stress on heart, and something else I don't remember). Then, hardening of the kidneys. The test may not reflect the exact condition she said, but there is something definitely going on. She was so concern that she urged me to go see a cardiologist. That's my next step. Regardless if that is the cause, they put me on herbs, supplements, and did acupuncture to treat specific issues that came up, and that's when the numbness stopped happening daily. Now it's on occasion, usually before my period.

What is interesting too, is that I also went to a chiropractor because I kept thinking it may be a pinched nerve or something. Their X-rays and also when they felt the vertebraes with their hands, all came up similar to what the acupuncturist said. The main ones with subluxations were connected to my heart and my female reproductive system!

Anyway, if I come across anything further I will post here. I know I'm leaving out a few details, like pain in feet when I wake up, slight loss of balance before, oh - and I just turned 28 years old and saw my first gray hair a couple months after it all started. The other day I found about 4 more. I can't help but think maybe all this has caused this somehow. Or maybe I just don't want to believe I am having premature graying due to genes. =) Nevertheless, I ordered some supplements to hopefully stop/reverse the grays. Ha!

I'm no Doctor, but it kind of sounds like "raynaud's disease". I sugest looking it up yourself since I would proboly fail to exsplain it proporly. The one thing I do know is that, generaly speaking, your skin may start to turn white in responce to cold tempetures or stress. Again, I sugest looking it up yourself since i'm not confident in my abillity to exsplain it my self.

I have just one word for you: WRONG.

While Aspartame is toxic and dangerous, you shouldn't come into a thread as serious as this and try to attribute our symptoms to a chemical in diet food. As someone on the Ketogenic Diet that only consumes water and eats ONLY non-processed food...I call BS on your vommeny.
