Just browsing the web as i needed to find info on how to cope with this. Basically im on my 5th day but i cant say at im better. Ive lost appetite - just resolting to jello when hungry as they just turn to water and my boyfriend claims he didnt BM at all when he did this. maybe my difficulty lies me living in the PH. No heater in the shower, no tub. My BM is not normal so i cant tell when i need to go. All i do after my unscheduled BM is to lie flat on the floor and focus on my breathing. Yes the pain subsides rather quickly but it starts at the highest pain threshold i can cope with. Ill try yer advises regarding the sitz bath immediately after BM see what it does. Keep the faith everyone! ~RairaiP

I am 9 days post surgery. I have had a very difficult recovery time, and am just now feeling somewhat better. I have lost a total of 12 pounds so far and have a new "side effect/symptom". I am wondering if it is just me or what as I have not found others posting about it. It feels as though I have a CONSTANT muscle cramp in my butt cheek. It started in one but a few times radiated to both sides. Ideas??? Help? Thanks! Sgpierce(at)eatel.net

I am on week 4! And doc says I still have a ways to go :( the pain of having a bm still makes me almost wanna pass out! I do daycare and was back to work in 7 days...awful! I have three kids (cause of hemroids) 8 - 4- and 5 months old (which I am nursing so need nurishment to get supply....the pain drugs decrease my supply for her so I try to avoid) I'm not at the point of ( saying glad I did it) but doc says I'll get there...Hoping So! I'm saying prayers for all of the future patients of this surgery!! I would rather birth 10 babies with no drugs then to do this surgery! Fast healing everyone!

Lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, I feel your pain, I'm equally going through that same pain right now if not worse but the humour you've created out of your experience cracked me up and make me a bit lighter this morning because honestly the pain itself can make one go into depression.
