pregnancy at 45 after tubal and missed period

I am 45 and had a tubal in 2006 with last son. I have missed my period for a month, little crampy very slight spotting on and off. Pregnancy test negative ? Could I be pregnant and is there a better test on market I should try ? My husband would be estatic if I were. Thankyou for any help
