I'm 35 years old, last Friday 9/7 I underwent a Laparoscopy to get rid of a chocolate cyst on my right ovary as well as scat tissues from previous surgery. Because of my age I'm planing on getting pregnant not later than mid 2013. I'm starting a treatment in 20 days when I go to c my doctor for a post op visit, she wants to put me on a treatment to prevent endometriosis from reoccurring. What are my chances of getting pregnant after having this surgery? Any suggestions? Thanks :-)

I am 23 years old and having a chocolate cyst. Doctors have suggested me a LAPROSCOPIC SURGERY. My doctor says that it is good to marry soon and have a baby as soon as possible.
I have not reached a marriage age yet and plus she is asking me to have a baby asap.
Please advice. I am very much tensed.

Hi Bambi. I have a question. I'm young just a year ago I found out I had a dermoid cyst now it seems to be a chocolate cyst. I've been having severe cramps during my period. Two weeks ago I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant & I have been in lots of pain unable to leave my bed very nauseous and faint (endo symptoms) my chocolate cyst is 5.5cm my ovary is 6cm. The pregnancy is causing lots of pain & lots of time in bed in place of working. I want kids in my near future but I'm in no position to hold the pregnAncy and deal with the symptoms. I'm due for a lap surgery in two days & termination. Is the lap surgery a good method or should I try BC first. The pain is preventing me from sleeping at night & extensive movements. Please advise.
