I awoke this morning feeling dizzy and preassure, I thought I should get out and it would feel better but it got worse. I had a hard time thinking or moving a bad tingling from head to toe. I finally went to se the Doc who did all kinds of blood work and wanted x-rays of my head Turns out I had a severe sinus infection. I am on antibiotics and other meds and feel 90% better. Hope thats the problem but will see what happens.

I have similar symptoms, although not exactly the same as some of you describe.

For approximately the past week I've had off/on spells of slight dizzyness and nausea throughout the day. It doesn't bother me when I'm sleeping or usually right when I wake up. Now that I think back I think I've felt these sensations before, but never this much or for this length of time. I'm worried it might be a brain tumor or some other such nonsense.

I turn 31 in a few weeks. I would go to the doctor today, but I'm in Bangkok for another week for work. I don't really want to see some doc here about this.

I've also had weird sensations falling asleep before that somewhat remind me of this, but I can't be certain.

I wish everyone the best.

Just in reply to the dizziness post. I experienced this dizzy, sick feeling for a few years-and would pass out from time to time-just always thought i wasn't eating right-something was chemically out of balance, etc., went to the doctor plenty of times-they never discovered anything.

Then in Feb. 06, I passed out after feeling dizzy-and my fiancee rushed me to the hospital-which I was against going-thinking its the same old thing-they find nothing wrong-well-I had a brain tumor! and was rushed to University of PENN asap, operated on the following day!

So---all someone had to do for me after concluding that my blood was fine, all else was fine, but THIS PATIENT was still experiecning dizziness, etc., was recommend a cat scan!!! I almost died that day-infact most people do of this type of tumor-and why a doctor never sent me for one I will never know. But I just want to say---it is not NORMAL to experience dizziness etc. without a cause-just think about it and be SURE you really are ok

I have suffered with these symptoms for years... I have herniated discs in my cervical spine that press on the spinal cord. I have not had a doctor tell me that this is the cause of the symptoms, but I usually can get some relief by putting an ice-pack on the back part of my neck (ice cubes in a zip-lock bag in a long sock tied around my neck).

I have had these symptoms for years. I was in a car wreck in 1991 and have herniated discs in the cervical spine that press on the spinal cord. When my symptoms get bad, I put an ice pack on the back of my neck and this will usually give some relief.

I have also been suffering from bad headaches on the top of my head as well as pressure in my head and my ears. But haven't felt anything move around or splurt i n my head. I also feel very tired. It seems to get worse the less sleep i have. However the symptoms feel much better during the day and worse in the morning and in the evening when i'm tired. i've been to the doctors many times and they said i had a viral infection. I've also been suffering from feeling faint due to this. But my symptoms just brought on my syncope. Basically its a fainting disease and i've had it since i was 4. One doctor told me to get my eyes tested as i work with computers continuously but 've been told i've got 20/20 vision. Not sure what to do. However i don't have high blood pressure. Last time i was checked i was normal and the time before that it was low. I've had a few problems with things like this when i've been on certain contraceptive pills. I changed to cerezette and i have been fine until recently. However i associate my feeling slightly sick a bit of the time to that. Been feeling like this for nearly 2months now. But i'm back at work as i've been feeling quite good recently when i get enough sleep. Plus i started a new job and moved house 4 months ago so it may have been stress and suchlike

I've a similar problem. A ton of these problems sound alike, with slight difference. I've had an MRI, no problems. But, I do have headaches, dizziness, feeling off balance, most of the time, and it sucks. It's taken some sort of toll on my mental sanity as well. I'm 27, an avid exerciser (which, has been harder since the onset of "this") smoke when I drink, although I don't drink often at all.

So what the hell? Serious stuff has been ruled out, which is relieving, but what is it? Anyone get any diagnosis? I got a migraine diagnosis, and got some medicine that helped the headache aspect, but the rest remains.

I'm frustrated, annoyed, upset, by all of this. It's weird and unsettling. If anyone hears anything, let us know.

I have been getting the same symptoms. I am male and only 20. It started with a stinging pain in what seemed like my scalp. A bit right to where my hair swirls. The next day I had horrible dizziness for the entire day. It is now the 3rd day and the dizziness seems to be reduced by half and I am no longer getting that stinging sensation. However I still feel a pressure on top of my head around where my hair swirls.

I have many of the symptoms described on these posts. I've had the feeling of pressure on top of my head and as if "walking on a boat" for about 6 years. Like many other people posted, I've been to the doctor to get checked with many of the exams mentioned here. I have become used to living like this. There are days which these annoying feelings are worst than other days. But they haven't gotten worse since I've had them. One thing that I noticed over time is that my blood pressure is higher than normal. I've been monitoring it over many months and is n the pre-hypertension stage. Another pecularity I noticed is that varies greatly (more than I would expect it to) from 120 - 150 for systolic reading throughout the day. I do find that regular exercise is key to maintain it from getting to stage I hypertension (>140 systolic). I'm 33 and in good health (aside from these symptoms).
I do have hope that someday this will go away. Who knows...maybe some hormonal change as I get older will cure it. The doctors I've seen for this matter really know NOTHING about this, which is the most frustrating part of it. The only thing that helps me is to exercise regularly. Do have hope for those who are in despair...I do believe that no bad thing lasts forever.

This might sound very "weird" to some of you, as it is actually a testimony, but here it goes. I was dealing with this problem for about the last 5 years. The symptoms were pressure on top of my head, an imbalanced feeling-dizziness(I guess maybe vertigo), tinnitus in right ear- which seemed to get louder as the imbalance was worse, just tired a lot of the time-sometimes feeling really exhausted and not doing much, and sometimes a foggy feeling-something like that. I would notice that it would be worse with lack of sleep or too much visual stimulation, especially going to the movie theater, and of course just moving around too much. Another weird thing I thought was that elevation changes seemed to affect it. Airplane rides really stretched out my faith. o.O I must mention that I had the MRI done and blood tests and went to the specialist and everything turned out fine. Well, I became a born-again Christian about 4 years ago and began trusting the Lord as my healer. Through it all He has been my strength(especially in the airplane rides!). Last week I attended a conference in Phoenix where the power of God fell awesomely. I had a fellow brother pray for me and when he laid his hand upon my head the Lord showed him that He was healing me of this condition. Here's what the Lord showed him as he told it to me: That he seen some inner tubes that were clogged or had some fluid built up in them and that the Lord was going to drain them and that fresh blood was moving into this area to heal. The Lord also showed him that there was like a vise, or a clamp upon the top of my head that was being relieved, and that tinnitus was being healed. Then the Lord showed him a level, that like the bubble in the middle represents perfect balance- that I was being restored to perfect balance! Amen. Now I know that some people don't believe, but hey- remember that I didn't tell this guy a thing except to pray for ringing in my ears. Since then, everythings been getting better every day and I actually noticed since that night that I've been experiencing some drainage through my sinuses and back of my throat(I actually was expecting stuff to come out of my ears or something), and that it actually was kinda salty tasting of something-gross,huh. So I looked on-line at this middle-inner ear stuff and it says that adults that get treated for fluid in ear and when they drain it that sometimes long term problems take a couple of weeks to fully drain, and that it's actually a mix of sodium and pottassium. And even about the pressure on the head thing, I found it could definitely be related to inner ear problems associated with those nerves. I figured as the inner-ear pressure was relieved so would the top-of-head pressure be also-and tinnitus seems to disappear with it. Awesome! If anyone wants this info I'd google "fluid in the ears" and maybe "Menieres". And of course, if anyone wants info on attending a conference or event where the power of God is, let me know where you're from and I could probably recommend something. Well, I truly hope I've helped someone cause I know how it is, being restricted cause of this. Believe me, I know how it feels to exclude yourself from carnivals, fairs, amusement parks, boats, movies theaters, basically whatever has motion or visuals. Even the Grand Canyon wasn't fun. Being in such high elevation with that panoramic view wasn't enjoyable for me. Oh, by the way, if this does sound like familiar stuff, be cautious of caffeine drinks and salty/sugary stuff. The caffeine stimulates the nerves-but I love my coffee. I'd end up paying for it with more alertness-but more floatiness/imbalance. Thanks for reading all of this if you did- I was just so stoked that I had to share it. Just remember though, there is Hope-
