Its a crying shame that in 2018 that there is still a serious lack of education in regards to our genitals, and health and problems there of, genitals which we have all possessed since the beginning of time, how many of us were given the Adam and Eve story and the Garden of Eden.
Just on the fun side of it, an interesting question, What was Adams reaction when he woke up that first morning with a glorious morning wood,(erection) and within a short while maybe after taking a piss, it subsided, and his penis was now less than half the size or less, or was he a shower, rather than a grower, and just how big was he?, what was his reaction.(what the f**k is going on here?. It's obvious he wasn't circumcised, but maybe he was among the rarity and born without a foreskin. Circumcision is the oldest surgery ever performed. For it to be carried out in the first place all those thousands of years ago, and to this day, someone began it all, it may have been through an accident, but when the benefits, be it health, hygiene, sexual, were discovered, it took of, The number of uncircumcised men, contributing to posts, forums etc, with problems of one kind or another is quite startling, and i have read many forums, replied to many questions. hopefully put many men at ease, or guided them in the right direction. Many of the queries here seem to be from teenagers, who in some ways maybe rushing into things, rushing into growing up. Sex can be a wonderful experience between a male and a female, (I didn't actual start until I was over 21, but that had more of a religious bearing than anything), but it be very costly, both mentally and physically, and financially, Being in Love can cause all sorts of mental issues, jealousy, insecurity, physically all sorts, from not achieving an erection for a man at the right time, to the woman, having here problems, a tight vagina, frigid, etc, then theres the foreskin issue with the man, it may not retract fully, (and believe me I had a friend who was in his twenties, been involved with a number of women, had sex, but until he met this particular woman, who was tight, and his foreskin only began retracting with her, he actually went through a lot of pain, and he needed to be circumcised as a result).
I like many on here am not circumcised, but I've kept my foreskin retracted permanently, for the last fifty years or more, (in the early years out of fear of being caught doing it, and stages in my teen years i did have my foreskin forward for a number of reasons, I didn't fully retract it till I was around twelve or so, and it was a scary experience, it got stuck behind the glans, I manage after a while to free it, basically by squeezing, the glans with one hand and rolling the foreskin over it with the other. I have suffered some of the issues mention on many sites, even though I have a relatively short foreskin, I suffered with phimosis, urinary tract infections, medicated with antibiotics, as a child, I peed in two different directions, I also wet the bed, and did so until, I discovered the joy of retracting my foreskin, stopped wetting the bed almost instantly, and had one direct flow when peeing, I also enjoyed the great pleasure it gave me when massaging the glans, to amazing dry orgasms.
When for the short period of times as a teenager, that I had my foreskin forward, the build up of smegma, and the smell of it was unreal, often having to wash my penis twice or more a day. But I did discover that certain soaps, or shower gels, irritated my penis more than others, especially the glans and inner foreskin, I'm not really sure if I grew out of that, changed soaps or gels, or when I went back to keeping my foreskin retracted that I became tolerant towards them, but for years now I have just generally used a normal bar of soap, including for washing my hair. I also don't wear underwear, as I suffered a lot with Jock itch, I believe that the likes of polyester, and synthetic fibres contributed to that, or washing detergent, I very rarely wear jeans, denim, as it can be very abrasive on the glans, without underwear.
I have among other things had them little white polyps around the rim of the glans, maybe where smegma developes, I'd squeeze them out with thumb and finger, I also had the treaded pimple, (ingrown hair) a couple of times in my life, sore f****r, but treated that myself as well, and of course the torn frenulum, another I treated myself.
I also manscape dry (shave)
This has been a long tread, I hope some find it useful.

This thread is years old and I’ve been reading it for years due to repeated flare ups of this over the years and I’ve just nailed a 4 month bout of it.
I think I finally understand some of what is happening.
To keep things simple, I’m going to be brutal…
What you have will most likely be a fungus; it starts small, sore little lesions in the foreskin perhaps and these clear up especially when you’re younger.
It’s a travesty how little is taught about men’s health! I’ve been to many GPS over the years and been given different answers by different doctors. Everything from a GP telling me my partner was being unfaithful, through STD clinics, being told I was unhygienic, to antifungals.
Lamisil cream coupled with lotriderm cleared this up for me. This had been prescribed for a flare up years ago and I’d forgotten. In fact this time, after months of serious discomfort, I used Lamisil Once. I lathered the stuff on and let it dry. It burns for 20 mins and then there was instant relief.
Wash it off 24 hours later, repeat a couple of days later if necessary.
If that doesn’t work, then it’s a different fungus. Try a Fluconozole pill or Canesten Cream.
