Same surgery done by Navy surgeon. Intense, 24/7 pain in left testicle started almost immediately and a wrong touch to left side of the testicle can cause excruciating pain, which mostly goes away quickly but can sometimes last for weeks. In the latter situation, the pain often extends up into left side around waistline, and the left foot striking the ground when walking - OUCH!! Same thought on exploring - it may make the problem worse. Sorry no suggestions, and pain meds don't seem to help. My hernia repair was done in 1962, so I don't see this going away anytime soon. Good luck to you!
