Starting a couple of days ago, a strange sensation abruptly started. I didn't do anything that might've caused it. It hurt to swallow a bit at first but I was okay after awhile. I went to bed with this odd feeling.

When I woke up, I still had the feeling. Checking my throat, I realized that my Adam's apple moved. It used to be vertical but was now at an angle.

It doesn't hurt to breathe or swallow, I have no problems with burping, coughing, or sneezing, and I feel no pains. Sometimes, I get a little light-headed. But I'm constantly aware of this sensation. It kind of feels like there's something lodged in there, or like something's being pinched.

Is this common. Has anyone even heard of this situation before?
