I've taken up running in the early AM.
I wear an orange construction worker type vest with reflective strips and reflective ankle bands. Is that enough? I haven't been hit yet, but I'd like to be sure that I can be clearly seen.

I did see a walker out one morning with this strange 'glowy' thing that gave off a dim blue glow all around her. Anyone know what that is?

If you stay out of that long paved thing they build for cars you will probably be safe.

Lime green vest, and that is it. Stick to the main roads where it is somewhat lit. Recommend the vest. My hats have some reflective stripping on them as well, so do most of the running sneax

I have a light on the front of the bike, and blinking red light on the rear of the bike.

The orange vest until it gets too hot for that, then the blinking bike light clipped on my shorts. Both seem to work. I've noticed that cars actually move over when they pass by.

I have a reflective vest for running. It's a meshy thing, so quite breatheable. People seem to really notice it, and move over.

like you john i have one of those construction type vests
orange, shoes and hat are reflective.
always run facing traffic, no headphones, like to hear what is coming. Always run very alert.
remember at night the eyes are attracted to movement
i usually do not worry. I worry more about the drunk dude he cannot react in time.
