I am in my 50s now, have had prostrate issues ever since I was a teenager. If I had sex too frequently I would ache.
Recently, in the last year, after about an hour I masterbate, my private parts smell, to put it as close as I know how to, like the smell of your female partner after a weekend of sex in a tent, no shower or bath. Now my sexual activity has dropped off to near zero the last 10 years and I rarely masterbate, 2-3 times per month, and have been arrosed numerous times before the final release occurs, nothing abnormal about the ejaculate's smell or color.
Is the odor just some signal to remind me to release more often, or could I have something going on with my prostrate?
I just stopped being as regular in masterbation due to the soreness in prostate after relase, as I could ignore the arrousal.
The lack of sex, after having a pretty healthy run of it, is mainly by choice since I have developed carpal tunnel and have 2 blown disks and the act itself would be quite an embarassment compared to my younger years and I would rather remember sex as good sex, not painful sex...
As far as this odor goes, does anyone else notice this with prolonged release, older age, or some medical condition they may have encountered with this symptom, without health insurance, just going to take advice off the web for now, thanks to any who are helpful in their responses...

I’m not familiar with scrotal odor being related to prostate issues, but why not check with your doctor just to be sure? As you know, the genitals tend to be a strong odor area, due to the sweat, heat and moisture that accumulates; also, as we mature, our bodies tend to change in ways we don’t expect, including a change in our body aromas, so it may be related to that. One thing you can try: use a good penis nutrient cream (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) regularly. If you choose one with vitamin A and apply it topically to the penis, it may help; vitamin has antibacterial qualities that help reduce penis odor.
