He could be hitting your cervix had it happen to me a lot before I found out what it was. My son's dad has a long ,thick penis and doggystyle and certain positions would be so painful I went to the ER too. We got tested of course negative. Try other positions and ask him to slow down and not ram so hard. Goodluck

I think the gas thing is correct ...I am in so much pain right now...just had sex with the hubby and had an orgasm and BAMMMM The pain came on right away I'm bent in half with pain shooting through my lower abdominal area and rectum last time I went to the er it was a cyst ... this time I'm sure it's a cyst or gas...omg the pain is unbelievable.... I tried to pee forget it...I can't pass gas it hurts too bad but I feel like I need too...anyone else have any suggestions?

I just also experienced this problem. I was having sex doggy style and seemed to hit what felt like my kidney when I was craning my head to watch. After some (tearful) google searching, I read an article about hitting the cervix during sec which can cause cramping in the uterus and pain in the rectum. I’m taking a hot bath which is helping a little bit. It does also feel like gas-pain that I sometimes feel during my period. And it’s hard to walk/move, accompanied by nausea even though I somehow didn’t puke. I hope this helps.

I’ve been having the same sort of pains after sex for four years now! Numerous doctor appointments and gynaecologist appointments still no underline explanation to what this is! I’ve also had this pain without having sex! But that last was the first time since Boxing Day I got this pain after sex and it was by far the worse it’s ever been! Am a mum of two and I’d rather of been in labour that the pain I was in last night! I’ve never had a panic attack in my whole life but I was in that much pain it took my breath away and I couldent breath! For 15 mins I was sat breathing into a brown paper bag with numb hands and feet through lack of oxygen! Am desperate to find out what is causing this! Rang the doctors today and got to wait for a internal scan in the next few week. If nothing is found I will be getting referd to a bowl specialist! Anyone have any idea what to expect!? Thank you.

Some of you endometriosis). The pain you’re experiencing is the rupturing of a cyst. Sometimes it can happen when you’re doing number twos, mostly, for me, it happens during (normal) Sex. The pain won’t subside until your pelvic floor has absorbed the fluid from the cyst too. There’s really not much you can do but try to notice when your abdomen is feeling bloated (it usually occurs around ovulation) and avoid penetrative sex at those times. Shocked that none of you have been told this by your gynos, I’ve been treated in England, Australia and Singapore for this and it’s really quite common. Ask for an ultrasound next time.

I all of those symptoms now after intercourse with my bf 2 hours ago but I feel nauseous too. I called the 24 hr nurse hotline the last time this happened. They couldn't help either and I gotta get my babies from school in an hour. luckily i made it to the bed. if i could just get dressed, I'll try my hardest but it's sooo painful. ugh

So I see that everyone's responses were written about a year ago... wish there was some idea of what this is!! Nice to see that others experience it too, though I woykd not wish this on anyone. This has been happening to me every once in a while for most of my life - I am 28 now. I used to randomly get the pain - like someone was stabbing me in the butt hole - as a kid, not in a sexual way - just randomly... never being able to do anything about it except just sit as still as possible and try not to even breathe too much because any move would make the pain shoot up. Worst pain possible. I saw some drs about it but never got any concrete answers - even with good insurance. Once I started having sex in my mid-teens, I found that sex would set it off. Nothing crazy, just regular vaginal sex. And not all of the time, just randomly here and there for no reason. I also rushed myself to the emergency room one time a few years back because of a serious flare-up and the drs had no idea. I got no answers. I couldnt even sit in the emergency room chair, had to stand and wait. Anyway, I havent had it in a long time but just got it the other day... after what I feel like was years without it bothering me. My feeling is that it actuallt might be deep-rooted hemorrhoids that flare up... especially when they are poked from the inside. But this is just a theory... the best one I have for now. If anyone has any more info, please share!

I get the exact same pain. Usually when he's gone in too deep, and or just before my monthly is due. Sucks, docs only prescribe paracetamol tabs nothing more.

I was going thru the same thing my ob/gyn recommended to go to physical therapy for pelvic floor n it's helping me. U guys should do the same. I was having pain during sex n after sex, to the point every time we have sex felt like the pression of a vacuum everytime he come out,it felt like he was suction everything out. I have been going thru this for 2 yrs. It got worse, that why my ob/gyn send me to therapy. Good luck
