Hi, folks. I have just been on surgery. I did rhinoplasty or as people call it – the nose job. However, I have been experiencing some severe facial pain after the procedure. I would like to know something more about this. Is this normal? I would appreciate if someone could answer me this. Thanks.

Hello, there. Pain is something that is usual for any kind of procedures. That is why doctors prescribe analgesics for this after any kind of procedure. However, pain after rhinoplasty should subside within 24 hours after the operation. It will last for few weeks. Has your pain subsided yet or not? You haven’t mentioned the time that has passed since your procedure. If you think that your pain hasn’t diminished in few days, talk to your doctor. He will tell you what to do.
