I am having severe sharp pain in the extremely lower left section of my abdomen, along with a crampy "stomach ache" higher up about mid-torso, maybe 2 or 3 inches under my bra.  Pain is so bad that it woke me up at 4:00 a.m. this morning.  Hurts to sit in a chair, hurts to walk without doubling over.  The only time I feel relief is lying down with legs pulled in, sorta like the fetal position.  I am late 30's, had ablation procedure done about 3 years ago so I don't have a period, and I also have a history of kidney stones (haven't had one in maybe 3 years).  My sister has extreme endometriosis (she's had 4 or 5 surgeries) so I'm terrified since my chances are greater since a family member has it. I went to my primary care dr. this morning, she gave me a shot of antibiotics and is treating it like it might be diverticulosis but to me it doesn't "feel" like that.  Any ideas?
