i was just wonderin if i have anything to worry about i had a hysterectomy to wks ago and about the 5th day after my boyfriend and i had intercorse my dr. told us we needed to wait 4 weeks.. well that didnt happen i was just wondering if i should be worried..

I was actually looking at this site because I was worried about myself having sex too soon with my fiance. Since I seen you're post, I suppose I feel a little better because I waited four weeks before sex. However, my doctor told me to wait until six weeks NO MATTER WHAT. I felt so physically well by now so we had sex and it hurt really bad. and I am so concerned. But, it makes me very concerned for you. I wish someone had posted something to you. Please call you're doctor. while doing a search for my own self, I found that there are very many stitches that are put in the upper (cuff) of a vagina and they can be torn very easily. causing possibe surgery and other things such as constant infections because the vagina has been exposed to bacteria. I worry especially because he ejaculated in my vagina and I wonder if that would introduce a high amount of bacteria. I hope someone answers us here and I hope you are doing good and I also think that we women need to look out for ourselves regardless of other's needs.

I felt so hot and my libido was so up 6 days after an open hysterectomy (removal of the uterus only) was performed on me, and due to this, I have lured my husband to do it, however, it was initially an outercourse for me and I ejaculated or shall i say squirted 2x, can you imagine that. My husband would like to feel the warmth of being inside me (that is the only way he could ejaculate), so I allowed him gently...but he did not ejaculate inside. That's also the reason why I am also worried and I had to check something about this topic. My doctor did not tell me not to have sex but the internet info advised it so... mind you, i feel the urge very oftenly and it's giving me pain if I don't ejaculate...what do you think? I would wait. Having a hysterectomy is serious, you have stitches inside that have to heal not just the outside. My husband is having a hard time waiting, but I'm waiting until I get the ok from my doctor. I requested that day off so we can make up for lost time.

I had a lapriscopic hyst. 17 days ago and I feel great. I had sex last n8gut had a little spotting but otherwise feel absolutely fine...and to be honest it was great. I think you really should just listen to your body. Recovery from anything varies by person..I regret nothing
