Postural tachicardia syndrome (POTS). It is autonomic nurvous system dysfunction. And you don't have to have actual tachicardia. This syndrome has too many symptoms and almost always misdiagnosed. The best site aboutit is dinet.org. Tilt table test is used to diagnose it.

Thank God I can see people having somewhat similar symptoms. However, mine are a little different. I used to be a regular on smoking up (hashish) about 2 joints a day. I have quit recently due to this condition I got once where I had smoked up and was high lying down on the bed watching TV when suddenly my head started to feel numb and I got a weird head rush where my vision was blacked out and I felt like all the blood in my body is rushing to my head, my head got warm and my heart beat was pacing at 200 bpm. I felt like I was going to pass out or have a heart attack but I walked this condition off and rushed to the hospital, where they took my ECG, bloog sugar and made me do a few exercises. They told me everything was ok to my amazement.
A few days later (after smoking up I got the same condition) and whenever I smoked up I had the same feeling. A restlessness, fast heart rate, dizzy and heavy head. Although its been 5 months since I quit smoking up I havent really been able to recover completely from it. There is a constant drop in my weight, I usually have a heavy head with a minor pain just above the ears, escalated heart beat, shakiness, cold hands and feet, feel like im passing, throbbing heart and head, pains in the chest and abdomen, excessive gas, weakness. I really dont know what this is. Tension can trigger this condition too, tea as well.
I don't think I have a lot of time left to live with this going on. Need help!

Hello,
if someone wants to know what exactly is happening in your body and brain during those episodes, google "AMYGDALA RETRAINING" . Watch introductory video, then sign up for 3 free, 1 hour each, sessions. After that you will have a pretty clear picture of the problem. Another very good and informative book to read is by Joe Dispenza "Breaking a habit of being yourself" . You will see that only you can help yourself. It is not an easy road to recovery though... just warning. But NOTHING else can help you.
