I've been trying to find this out for a long time. Whether an enema should be used before anal sex or not, I've searched it on Google many times, and I've gotten mixed answers from multiple websites! Some say you should to be extra clean and get rid of the fecal matter, but then some say that you shouldn't because it could wash out the necessary bacteria in the rectum. So, I want to know the real answer. Should an enema be used before anal sex or not? Also, I plan on using water if an enema should be used, and I want to know if an enema should be used every time before anal sex.  I really need to know this because I plan on having anal sex with my wife soon.

Hi Jordan, you are getting mixed answers because there is no one definitive answer. Some people think you should, other don't. Some people say it causes irritation or worse, others prefer it because they are confident that things are clean up there. No messy surprises. We never use enemas, partly because anal sex is usually spontaneous for us, and partly because we have never seen the need to and I'm a little squeamish abut the enema thing. So far no problems. But what is important is never to go from anal to vaginal sex without a very good wash of your member, or wear condoms during anal sex and remove it for vaginal sex if you plan to do that afterward. That is so much more important than worrying about enemas. I ope that helps, but I realise it isn't the cut and dried answer you were hoping for

Well, I guess I'll see which one my wife is more comfortable with whether using it or not. But, if not then she's going to have to go on a colon clensing diet.
