Hello,
I had my total colectomy and ostomy at the end of january and I’m just learning to live with stoma and everything being completely different. My ostomy nurse is helpful, but I guess because my stoma is sunken in my abdomen, there isn’t too much that can be done about the leaking and the whole thing falling off. Since it took me time to accept that this is how I’ll have to live from now on, I just recently came across the information about ostomy belts. If anyone here has any experience, it would mean a lot to hear first hand if the belt helped at all with leaking and how comfortable is it to wear?
I am living with stoma for 10 years now and ostomy pouch and belt have really helped me with these problems.
