I know exActly what u r talking about! At 13 yrs old (still a virgin) I started using tampons. I experienced the same "burning/painfulness" u have. First, using a "super" is probably to large(diameter) not length. Try the smallest flow size. Use a plastic applicator (Tampax Pearl is a good one).when u push up on the applicator and the actual tampon(cotton part) is inserted it usually does feel like a burning sensation because it's dry cotton rubbing against very dry sensitive tissue. Once u insert it all the way, that feeling will go away. The only way u would feel a tampon is if it isn't inserted properly(far enough up but not far enough for u to "lose your virginity!"). Believe me...it took me several times of trying to insert one to finally get it right. Remember, if u feel it or "can't walk or sit" , it's not in far enough and start with the smallest size and change more often. Use plastic a applicator since it glides easier and look at the picture in the instructions to see exactly how everything in a female is shaped!! Good luck! Hope this helps.

(2) "my sister broke her hymen falling on a corner of the bathroom sink"
Yeah like I once slipped in the bath tub and slid my prepuce apart! However that's nothing compared to the time I felt down the stairs straight into my girlfriend's vegina and she "accidentally thus felt pregnant"!
(3) The term "virgin" may have been confounded with "maidenhood" and sometimes used interchangeably in the past because it was assumed that no woman would naturally choose to be a prostitute - paid or unpaid (i.e. w****). It was assumed that woman would want a man to commit to her to found a family before she would allow him sex. But to say that virginity used to mean "being unmarried" is a bit exagerated. The two states are different - hence the need to check for virginity in the past prior to marriage. Furthehrmore an unmarried woman could be a widow, a mistress, an old maid or many more but not necessarily a virgin if we go by bygone days standards!

Im 37 and still a VIRGIN!, Insesrting a tampon will NOT lose your virginity.. and I believe in Gods word (penitration with a PENIS is the only way to lose ones virginity. My gyno asked if I had sex, the answer no. Have you used a tampon, yes. She did her exam with only one instead of two fingers, so there would be little to NO pain. I am sill a VIRGIN!. However, I have only used tampons 4 times in my live a it hurt. (after research, it seams its not in far enough or too big a tampon) I also need a internal ultrasound with a wand and my gyno stated there is a small tampon size ward if a virgin.... But you are still a virgin. People and religious belif scare girls and ladies to stay pure for marriage buy saying tampons lose virginity. Again I feel pain with a tampon the 4 times Ive used, but I may be doing it wrong.
I tried EVER method... I find if I lay on my back (floor or bed) with feet on wall and butt 6-12 in away from the wall, That is the least pain full way and takes little time to insert. the Other ways I have pain and cant insert even after trying 30 min.
