my father has been taking percocets for 3 years because of a staff infection with they have called it the super bug. that literally ate his shoulder up after a minimal shoulder sergury. i have found lord calvert bottles hidden around his house. he has been to the hospital nemorous times with chest pains and he has all kinds of side affects ( i think ) from this mixture. his doctors at the pain clinic give hime 180 percs at a time. they dont know that he drinks on top of them and it really scares me . i thought about telling the his docs about him mixing the percocets with alcohol but i think he would do something crazy if they stopped giving him pain medication. i did tell the doctors at the hospital about the abuse and all they would do is run a simple liver enzym test and the say " oh , his test are ok " well what does that mean!!!! sometimes he gets really wierd acting like he is loosing his mind, he has pains that he says makes him feel like he is going to die. he has a hard time sleeping at night is this pain comming from mixing alcohol with pain medication?? or is this pain comming from the infection that he had ? lost and looking for answers please help me and i am going to let him read the answers i get back
