My best bet is to ask the doctor, i have had a family history on my mom's side of drug abuse and other things, my sis smokes weed now, i've never touched the stuff for fear of addiction and because me and my boyfriend vowed not to, but for those who quit in my family it Is difficult, and tempting to go back, i don't know how effective this may be for you but try creating a snack that replaces the weed, like if you'd normally smoke it at such and such time chew gum or eat fruit instead, because more than likely your body is behaving oddly because the weed changed it's chemistry and now that it's gone your body (even if you don't) craves it as it thinks it's something essential, but trust me you made the right choice and in time your body should get better, but again your best bet is probably to ask a doctor, hope this helps!

Eight years of doing something every day with a sudden "cold-turkey" end is never good on the body. Your reaction is normal, but normal doesn't mean healthy here. You have options.
1) Ask a doctor. But since you're posting this problem online I figure you would rather not. So:
2) Eat healthy. SLOWLY (slow and steady, brother) start increasing your fruit/root vegetable/leafy green vegetable intake while decreasing processed foods/sweets/refined sugar.
3) Don't quit cold turkey. Toke up once a week. At this point, it can help by keeping your addiction satisfied. But while you're doing it, think about how bad it is for you. How much better off you'd be without it. That will help mentally and physically.
4) Drink water. It flushes out toxins and keeps you hydrated. But don't drink too much, and don't drink that c**p from the tap with the flouride poison in it.
5) Exercise to work up an appitite and stimulate fat-burning. THC is stored in fat cells and the quicker you detoxify your body of THC the better.
6) Smile. If you tell your body to act happy, your mind will follow.
