I dont know if I have a slow transverse colon or not. All I know is that I don't empty my bowel sometimes for about 3 days by which time I feel as though I have a temperature and am very hot. It is as though my body feels poisoned and I feel so very tired. Just recently it has got much worse and I am now feeling very sick and very trembly. I useually then have a bowel movement which is very large and I realise that if that amount comes out there is no wonder I feel so ill. I then have more bowel movements until I suppose most of my bowel is emptied. I have also recently started to get stiffness in my fingers and wonder if anyone else out there has any similar symptoms. It is very distressing and my doctor or any bowel specialist does not seem to be able to help. Apart from trying to drink quite a lot of water I dont know what else to do. I think that one day it will make me so ill that perhaps I will get serious poisoning. Can anyone help?!!
