So.. I have no idea what these things are, and my newly military discharged family can't afford healthcare so I can't exactly go see a doctor. So I'm looking for advice on what they might be and then I will take measures. I'll be thorough about details.

They are small white round objects about the size of small pearls, and there are many of them scattered and embedded throughout the entire movement.
The matter in which they are stuck in is normal brownish color. I don't take any medications or vitamins at all, ever, and haven't for months. I don't think I have an excess calcium intake, my diet is pretty balanced, if a bit carb and meat heavy (we moved back to Texas with my husbands in-laws), I don't think I exercise enough compared to what I used to, I've had nausea , but not recently, I vary between having loose stools and being terribly constipated, accompanied with gas. I have a little back pain, but I don't know if I have bloating because I have gained a lot of weight recently and just always feel bloated. I'm not pregnant or nursing. I don't drink much caffeine, I drink water from a well-pump(non-city) system. I'm not eating anything that would make little round balls, at least to my knowledge. I chew pretty well. I live in a house where a cat used to live, and I live on a farm where there are dogs and goats and chickens and their poop EVERYWHERE. I DID get my thyroid checked recently because I have all the thyroid symptoms, and that came back negative as did an STD check. Additionally, my blood sugar is normal. Is this enough information? As much as I love doctors, I know that going to one can often result in guesswork. I'm not going to pay out of pocket until I think there is actually a reason to pay out of pocket.

Thanks!

What you are seeing is likely the spheroids used to carry medication. I am pasting in info about Efexor, but this same technology is likely used for other meds.....hope this helps put your mind at ease. Prescribing information on Efexor XL states: 'Venlafaxine prolonged-release capsules contain spheroids, which release the active substance slowly into the digestive tract. The insoluble portion of these spheroids is eliminated and may be seen in faeces' [Pfizer, 2011a]. The patient information leaflet states the following under the side effect section: Do not be concerned if you see small white balls or granules in your stool after taking this medicine … as they travel through your stomach and intestines, venlafaxine is slowly released. The spheroid 'shell' does not dissolve and is passed out in your stools. So even though you may see spheroids in your stools, your dose of medicine has been absorbed [Pfizer, 2011b].

This was very helpful! I was worried about this, as I had the same issue. I am taking Effexor and it's good to know that it causes this. Thank you for the information.
