Last March (as in 2010), I was admitted into the hospital because I had an abscess the size of a lemon in my throat

I had my tonsils taken out the following May, which was the most horrible 15 days of my life.


Now, I have a sore throat in only my right side, which was how the abscess started. I'm so paranoid.
What are you experiences with sore throats after a tonsillectomy?
My roomate says she only gets them in one side, but I don't want to go through that again.
