I'm 19 and my boyfriend and I had sex a couple days ago. It was my first time, and 24 hours after I had some spotting when I wiped. It was just a light pink color. A few days before we had intercourse we were doing some fingering and I started to bleed from that too. Could this be due to irritation or the fact that I just finished my period a couple days earlier? I'm a little concerned and confused. I keep hearing differing opinions. I appreciate any comments or advice!!

Women do bleed/spot when they are being fingered or when having sex for the first time. This is when the hymen gets broken and it bleeds. I am sure you have heard of it. Some women bleed just once, some bleed for a few days while some don't bleed at all.
