So had the procedure on 10/14. Went to my checkup three wks after. Dr. said uterus was back to normal. Prescribed bc pills. I had a very very light period and started taking the bc pill -- almost done with the pack. The cramps had stopped a week after the abortion but they have been back for the last two weeks. These are the same cramps I had while I was pregnant. Ive done about three HPT and they are all negative. Is this REPLACEnormal to be cramping? They are mild, but constant..

Hi! Complications are rare if the abortion is made within ten weeks. The most common complications after abortion are: Bleeding, it is normal to bleed for a couple of days. A period in most cases comes after five to six weeks. If you have vagina discharge, temperature and abdominal pains you should contact your doctor. It could be caused by an inflammation. Though, it is normal to have mild pain across the lower abdomen for the first couple of days. So your mild cramps should be normal symptom after abortion. There's nothing to worry about. I hope this will help you.

Thanks. Yes, everything is normal except for those cramps. I still have them. Maybe my body just needs time to adjust. Thanks again
