i have been suffering a similar thing for the last four weeks - round one was stomach cramps, nausea, loose stools, lots of gas, bloating after eating, fatigue. went away after a week. every time i am well for 5 -7 days and then it returns. The second round all i could eat was oat scones and butter, and tea. The next round i felt very nauseous and couldn't tolerate any fat or dairy. Latest round i have extreme fatigue, low appetite, brain fog, can't concentrate, very weak shaky legs. Now my daughter has it - for four days. Back at school tomorrow. All she eats is bread and rice. After reading another post here about parasites being possibly involved, I am going to treat myself for parasites - with my zapper that i got from BestZapper online. Also will try chaga mushroom tea to boost immune system and kill parasites. will

On 27th March all of a sudden I felt queasy, mild headache over right eye, horribly shaky, restless, and like all I wanted was to burst into tears. Well I let myself have a jolly good cry (over nothing!) but that didn't help at all.
Felt like I had drunk WAY too much coffee, and I hadn't. I'd only had my normal one cup a day in the morning which I have happily had for years with no ill effects.
This carried on every day. Some days I was not as bad but the mild headache would never leave. I felt queasy at random, suddenly, then it would pass and not come back for hours or maybe a day or two. It didn't seem related to whether I'd eaten or hadn't eaten . I had no fever, no abdominal pain, no diarrhea (though a bit more 'urgency' in the morning than I was used to.) A horrible shakiness would come over me and last for hours -all day and heart palpitations and weakness. My legs often felt like jelly especially in the mornings, and still had 'weepy' bouts. But I was eating fairly normally and healthy food. I put up with it for 3 weeks, then I went to the doc. After examining thoroughly, he didn't see much wrong with me, and took bloodwork, though urine tests all were normal. (no results from the bloodwork yet)
Well I had two good days and then it would come back again, and this went on. I lost hope of ever feeling normal again.
Then three days ago after two days of believing I might be getting better, it all came back with a vengeance. Now I can hardly eat, trembling all over, constantly nauseous. Bowel movements are a bit loose but certainly not diarrhea. Can't tolerate exercise, though before this I would love a good walk every day -at least 2 miles, usually 4. Now I have to stay in most of the time as I feel worse walking. It is sad in a way for an active outdoors person.
I have no appetite at all until usually late in the evening, when miraculously I start to feel much better! I force myself to eat tiny things in the day just to keep myself together, but don't want to face food. Then I can only face toast, lettuce, soft boiled eggs, bananas and honey! I am taking vitamin B and C and a multi-vitamin/mineral supplement. But I wonder how long I can eat just that food and nothing else? I can't even face a potato or pasta etc and can't eat my usual vegetables and fruit.
It feels like some weird GI virus but I am now in my 5th week with this as from yesterday. It felt "fluey" at first except no fever, now it is in the guts more.
Usually I take Echinacea angustifolia tincture and garlic when I have any 'bug' and usually I can feel some difference in a few days from that -but not so this time!
I get some relief from a tea made with Peppermint, Meadowsweet, and Camomile, and chew on a thin slice of fresh Ginger 3 times a day. That concoction definitely helps, and by evening I can face food. Stll continuing with the Echinacea and raw Garlic and have upped vit C dosage last 3 days, but though it doesn't make me worse it doesn't make me better either which is almost unknown for me.
Does anyone know -is this a viral infection, or what? I don't want to be given the runaround by the doc -sending me for colonoscopies/endoscopies etc. Can't imagine anything worse, and I feel they won't find anything. I feel this is an infection. Virus or something
