Do not worry. I had these football shape floating things in my stool for a couple of weeks. They were between 1/2"-3/4" long and betwen 1/4"-1/2" wide. They were white inside with the texture of cheese cake. I had these while I was having sandwiches for lunch made from processed potato bread. Now that I am back on my salad for lunch routine, these have disappeared. No problem---get over it. It is something you eat.

I just passed another one a few days later. What were your results with you tests? Thank you. I am glad I am not alone!

I am leaning more towards WILDREDHEAD as an answer to the truth on this matter. Reason being because of everything she listed was truth. Now both 2findtheway and WILDREDHEAD have wonderful points. Like most things in the medical world you can have symptoms that is simular up to that last deciding thing that determines the difference. I would suggest looking into the what better descibes you and take that information to the doctor. If your not getting the answer you seek and they think it is all in your head.... move on to another doctor.

TEA me personally have not been able to go back to the dr and have this properly diagnosed. But I have a lot of symptoms that mimic what WILDREDHEAD was saying. However as of lately I have been drinking lots of tea and the fatty stools left. NORMAL STOOLS once again!! They smelled and looked normal and without straining and tucks to soothe the aftermath. I stopped it for just a couple of days and today guess what was in my stool? A floaty yellowish/orangy sponge thing and it was floating around the nastier smelly mucus stool. So I am going to look more into WILDREDHEADS information and going to see what the dr thinks. Dont have insurance for a pathologist but I will see what my dr thinks.

Since MAY of 2007 we been asking the same question yet no one has a PATHOLOGIST's reading on the matter. We need answers. If those who have the means should and also post what they found so others can go to their drs and say hey.... I know what this is......

BTW what 2FINDTHEWAY also said was truth... but what I was saying is neither one should be eliminated.......but sought out for the truth. So take both ideas and look into them. Take what you learn to your dr. Just wanted to be clear on the whole who is telling the truth because both are.

I did not ask any of you if you have had a colonoscopy? That is something that should be done. That is one way to tell if it is IBS or inflammatory bowel disease AKA Crohn's or ulcerative colitis. I asked my GI doctor last week and he said if they diagnosed you with IBS and have not done a colonoscopy, then they are just guessing.

I agree about the herbal tea. I have been drinking some tea I bought from a local coffee shop. It has helped. I have been taking Asacol and Steroids for about a month. One of the gals my husband worked with suggested this. I went in there looking for something to ease the effects of the steroids. I saw some tea for the GI track and it helped. I still have another 2 more weeks on the steroids. I really hate taking them. So if the tea works keep it up.

I really hope all of you get answers soon.

Peoples Pharmacy has several products that help with all of the issues I've seen listed on this site. Paracidin, Parastat and GallBladder Complex will kill off liver and kidney flukes that look like corn in stool once they curl up and die as well as numerous other parasites that you will eventually see in stool, especially if you use a water/ hydrogen peroxide enema once a week or so to clear inside and out. You have to do this for at least 30 days or you are wasting your time and money. However, IBS and other instestinal, gallbladder, pancreas issues will go away. Every creature on this planet has parasites but humans prefer ignorance is bliss over real education and real education about health will help you realize that humans have been treating parasites for thousands and thousands of years. We haves only stopped in very recent years.... because we are too smart, too well educated and too clean.... YEAH RIGHT! Treat parasites, you will see the results with your own eyes and feel so much better in a short period of time. Your mind, your energy level will change quickly. Call peoples pharmacy in westlake, austin, texas and ask for Beth if you have questions. She is awsome! good luck

I too have just recently been passing these things that look like baby carrots. I pass one every morning for the last 3 days. My wife says they are fat. She says when she was in class at weight watchers (or l.a. weightloss, one of those) they said that as you lose weight, these things can form and come out. I have been watching calories and carbs and losing weight. Its not a doctors opinion but none-the-less, its something.

husband has had severe GI sx since gallbladder taken out. explosive diarrhea, bloody stools, pus in stool, bloating, gas, left sided pain, fatigue, headaches and can't hardly eat a thing without problems. He recently showed me a kidney bean shaped object in stool, brownish/tan on outside, strange white creamy substance on the inside. Once these pass he feels better like a blockage has been released. Just found this posting and realized there are others out there with the same problem. I am a nurse and I have tried everything to help him. He has had 10 colonoscopies with 3 different diagnosis'. We have tried tons of different meds, diets, etc. nothing helps. there seems to be similar problems with the individuals complaining of these kidney bean objects. I can't help thinking if we can figure these objects out, we can move on to solve this problem. Does anyone have any new information?

I think these things are some by-product of wheat flour or gluten. I eat salads for lunch almost every day. On the days that I have a sandwich or have pasta for dinner, I will find some of these capsule-like floating things in my stool. They are the color of your feces on the outside and white and spongy or cottage cheesy looking on the inside. I don't think there is anything to worry about. It is just how your digestive system works.

I have also found a few of these bean shaped pods in my stool, and am thankful to find I am not the only one.

That is the least of my problems at the moment.

One month ago I got sick with nausea, bright yellow diarrhea, complete loss of appetite, flutters in my intestines and a pressure type pain in my left upper quadtrant.
I was extremely ill for about a week, unable to eat and barely able to even drink much for a few days.
Thankfully the worst of it passed and I could finally tolerate water, ginger ale, and some foods like bagels and turkey, crackers, and some soups.
I went to 3 different doctors, and all of them told me that it was a virus that I just needed to let do it's thing, and that eventually I would feel better.
One of them gave me levsinex which helps.
Fast forward to now, one month later, I have lost almost 30 lbs (a was overweight to begin with), my stomach has been bloating every time I eat anything, I have continually had this yellow stool the entire month, sometimes it is loose and sometimes not.
I also get these "attacks" that seem to come on with no rhyme or reason, I will start sweating, get pressure in my stomach, get nauseous, exhausted, and clammy.
It goes away after a little while, or I have to take the levsinex and that usually helps me.
I had stool samples taken and there are no parasites and the culture and sensitivity tests should come back tomorrow.
My appetite is so small..and I am a lover of all things food, as well as a very emotional eater....so this has been very hard for me on many levels.

I am happy to have lost the weight, but not in this manner, and the bloating is making me look pregnant...which I am not, we did a test for that as well.

All of my labs are ok also.

Any thoughts or suggestions are very much appreciated.

Thanks for letting me vent!

I have also had the lima bean experence. It started when I began taking extended release Metformin. I have read one other place the extended realease pills can look like this. But am I digesting the pill or is it just getting changed through my body chemistry?

I believe that the objects with a white squishy center can only be one thing. When the digestive lining is overstressed it produces mucous to protect its lining, then the body has to get rid of it. Sounds like inflammation in the digestive tract that is causing this.
Let food be your medicine, people who eat the general diet are in deep trouble. All things made with wheat and sugar and also all fast foods, high on meat in a bun are trouble for the digestive system. Also, age is a significant factor to be considered.
First thing to do--start a food diary, complete with all liquids consumed as well as a record of how many times the washroom is used. Everything, put into your mouth.
Second thing to do--decide if you are willing to get better or not. Some people refuse to change, are you one of them?
Third thing to do--make sure you have fully done step 1 and 2
