I have recenty started to get strong pain on the RIGHT HAND SIDE of my body, behind my ribs, also feel as though it is ciculating the upper right hand side of my back. The pain appears after eating and stays for a long time after, seems to be worst at night. It is not being caused by any particular type of food.

NOT SURE IF THIS IS RELATED OR NOT - I am als anemic, have slight palor (whitey-yellowy coloured skin - not nice) the doctor has previously checked for swollen lyph nodes - finding one in my neck which was found to be negative for lymphoma. Furthermore, my joints can be quite painful.

Any help n the matter would be appreciated, my main problem is the pain behind my right ribs, just added the rest incase it is related :-) Thanks guys :-)

It could be your gallbladder? Maybe a gallstone.

If there is an infection it could certainly cause some swelling of your lymph nodes. Sometimes, gallbladder problems can cause joint pain.

Check with your doctor. Usually you can expect to have some blood work and an ultrasound done to determine if it is the gallbladder.

Hope it helps, keep us posted.
