Ok soo I have a problem with my friend and "suboxone" and as far as i know he never did herion or anything else like that, but for some strange reason he switched to suboxone from perks and viks. Hes been doing the suboxone for about almost a year now.He wants to stop but the withdrawals are to much.I want to help i just don't know much about the drug and how to handle it.If he doesn't have the suboxone when he needs it he uses kaladapins as a substitute. If you have any advise on how to help I'd appreciate it!

Suboxone can be very addictive if used long-term. He would have to taper very, very slowly over a long period. The only way to taper is to dilute suboxone with a known quantity of water, rather than trying to measure little bits of tablets, and measuring this dilute with a 1cc measuring syringe. what I do is use 8cc's of water per 8mg pill, put it in a good, watertight bottle, and shake it well each time I draw out a measured dose. this way, you cane taper off by a hundreth of a milligram per day, or as much as he can tolerate coming down at a time. Also, make sure he rinses out with listerine before putting this solution under the tongue, and keep it there for at least a half-hour every time, to ensure he gets a consistent dose absorption every time.
