Suboxone only shows up in court testing where they're looking for it. Employment U.A. are not presently testing for it. I've been taking U.A. dot drug testing for 22 years. They have to test for suboxone witch is not presently done for employment. I see people mixing court durg screen and employment drug screens. So if your not taking a court ordered drug screen your fine.

He is using oxy babe. Subs won't show up as anything but suboxone. You have to have a special test for the subs. It definitely would t show up oxy.

I KNOW first hand, Suboxone does NOT, I repeat,,,does NOT show up on a 5 Panel DOT drug test. Suboxone has absolutely no chemical in it that is even close to any drug tested for on a 5 Panel test. It MUST be looked for specifically!!! If anyone says different, they either dont know better, theyre guessing or straight out lying. One cannot get high on Suboxone either. It has virtually NO mind or mood altering quality. It simply blocks opiates from getting people high, as well as blocking withdrawal symptoms. It is also used at times as a pain reducer for things such as Arthritis. There are NO Opiates in Suboxone!

I disagree with you I've been taking Subutex for two weeks haven't put an opiate in my system other than that... And I took an at home 12 panel drug test and it came up positive for Oxy.. Why would I lie on a panel full of people I don't know ?

Not true friend. I have had false positives for oxycodone from taking pieces of Suboxone and adding them to a clean specimen. I don't know if I had put too much into the sample or waited too long/not long enough but again on multiple occasions I have had false positives with THC being the only other elements in my system that was being tested for. Any ideas on that one. . .

You are so wrong. You do not know what you are talking about. They are not all the same thing some of the drugs you mentioned are regular opiates and some of them are synthetic opiates which are completely differenty when it comes to drug tests! You have no clue what you're talking about yet you're spreading it like fact. They do not all come up as the same thing you are completely wrong

I've taken 5 drug test in the past 8 years ,1 for preemployment and 4 random it's has never showed. I have a script but rather not share with my employer.

I know this is an old thread but I'm having the same problem. I 100% have not touched oxy in a LONG time and I failed for it this morning on a DOT piss test. Its being sent to the lab. My question is will the lab be able to see I haven't taken oxy or suboxone? Im prescribed suboxone so I'm good there.

No you're not good with being on suboxone prescribed or not. There are two medications that are absolutely not allowed to obtain DOT jobs and that is methadone and suboxone. The only way they would know if you were on suboxone is if you tell them. Best piece of advice i can give you is DO NOT DIVULGE THAT INFORMATION ..then and only then will you be "all set". Sad really considering suboxone has transformed so many peoples lives and helped them become productive members of society.
