The best thing to do when you have sweaty balls is not to treat the symptoms but eradicate the cause. Of course you will end up as a eunuch but most girls prefer a high pitched voice to that sweet sickly smell you are offering them now. Get the scissors out laddie! :-)

Okay first whoever said everyone has sweaty balls, you are incorrect. I never used to ever have sweaty balls until I went through puberty. Sweaty balls aren't that bad, don't worry no one can smell it, and it only happens when you workout. Who cares you already might get smelly from working out. Don't let it bring you down it's not the worst thing that could happen.

Sorry buddy didn't help.  I have severe underarm odor which started about three years ago.  I have gone to several doctors for help.  Not for sweating but for the terrible odor emitted.  The truth is that I do very little sweating.  However, a very small amount of sweating with produce an underarm odor that is unbearable.  I bath twice a day and wash my underarms every 3.5 hours even during the night, due to the odor. After my bath at night, I can only sleep about 3.5 hours before the odor is back.  I then get up during the night, bath or wash the underarm area.  This will last about 3 hours before I am up again.  I haven’t had a full night sleep in 2 years due to this problem.  I assure you, WASHING is Not the solution for this type of problem.  I have tried antibacterial soap, medication, vinegar, bathing in the morning and night and washing every 3 hours.  Still I do not have a solution.  Can anyone out there help?

Avon on duty deodorant is a liquid deodorant that dries almost instantly, it works fine but you should put some only on the scrotum.

The solution is so simple that it's hard to imagine it took me years to arrive at it.

1. get 2 pairs of knit (not weaved) boxer shorts
2. put the first pair on and put all your "junk" through the opening, making sure the opening touches the corner area that sweats so that the sweat can be absorbed.
3. put on the second pair of boxer shorts

That's it. The first pair absorbs all the sweat while the second covers everything up neatly. Change damp shorts as often as needed. It leaves the groin area free of any sweat or rash.

If you happen to have a need, for whatever reason, to wear jockey shorts (occasional incontinence etc.), you can always simply put them on on the outside of the inner pair.  I've found jockey shorts by themselves to be irritating and able to cause skin rash so I don't use them.

I totally sympathise Conrado.  I'm a man and I never had this problem until the last couple of years and it SUCKS.  Most replies may not sweat as profoundly as we do though.  I shaved and it chaffed my sack.  I powdered and baby powder was ok but not long lasting.  Gold bond rubbed me raw up in the groin and that smelled worse.  Cheap powder seemed to hold the moisture and made the smell go from pretty funky to down right nasty.  Gold Bond foot powder was the best I found  but even at that, if your nuts sweat like mine, you may want to up your shower total.  Once a day is common sense, but if you do ANYTHING active, get another one in there.  Keep it fresh and clean, girls like that better anyway.  Trust me, if you look at jocks, preps or any other dude that does ok with the ladies you'll notice they are usually pressed and freshly clean.  Georgia Girl, call me.

Try a little rubbing alcohol after you shower for about a week. Kills the bacteria that causes the smell and itch. Worked for me. Now just once or twice a week for maintenance. Super inexpensive too. Good luck.

Hi. There was an advertisment on the Howard Stern show back in November regarding a product for helping with this sensitive issue. The product is called FreshBalls. While the producers of FreshBalls took a humorous marketing approach in addressing the issue, the product is real and does relieve the symptoms of sweat in the groin area. A bottle of the stuff is only $14.99 and lasts about a month.

Hey folks I have smelly balls not sweaty balls and the smell comes from testosterone being converted to estrogen. I smell like a woman in that area every f#@$ing day and I'm sick of it. My ddoctors won't prescribe any anti-estrogens so I will use the WWW to find what I need!

I never had such problem when using bar soaps. I usually jst bathe once a day. But moment i started using a dove body wash with dove shower tool. Things got nasty. Not to mention recent move to a hot place.. I guess bars are best for sensitive areas. Nobody advises daily exfoliation, thats pretty much what shower tools do. Must be making the skin more exposed to welcome bacteria.

ha ha ha ha ha ha......OMG! I wish I read your post BEFORE I did it. I just used the foot powder and at first it was tingling, but after a few minutes, my sack was burning! I had to QUICKLY get a bottle of water because I couldn't just jump in the shower out here in Afghanistan. Thank GOD I had a bottle with me or I would have been in some SERIOUS trouble. I had to research to see if anybody else had the same problem I just experienced and I see you did it as well.
