My upper left eyelid has been swollen for about 3 days now and its doesn't seem to be doing anything else other than stay the same... It is painful when I blink or when I apply pressure to the inflamed area. It feels dry and isnt bloodshot. The pupil and coloured area of the eye (lens i think) is shaped more like an oval then a perfect circle. Neither of my eyes have ever been like this before, and there is no noticeable change in my vision... i can still see fine. ( If anyone has any ideas or suggestions on what this could possibly be please post back

Thanks,

Hello there

It seems that you have some kind of infection. Have you tried with warm compresses? This is something that should help you but be careful that you use clean towel s and that your hands are very clean because if it is an infection you could do something even worse with dirty hands.

You can apply one more home remedy as well. This always helps me when I have swollen eyes (I have allergy problems so I experience swollen eyes very often). Make yourself chamomile tea and wait for a few moments for a tea to get colder. Use tea bag, but check with your hands if it is hot. Use it only if it is warm. Put it on swollen eye for about few moments and repeat this few times during the day. If nothing of this help than you should see a doctor.
