Hello,

I’ve had overactive bladder for several years now and it literally controlled my life completely before I finally saw an urologist and got a prescription for Enablex. Enablex really helped me to minimize number of bathroom trips significantly, but unfortunately over the last few months I became more and more depressed and didn’t link it to Enablex at all until my urologist told me it’s one of the rare but probably the worst side effects of Enablex.

Now he wants me to switch to Detrol which, of course, I’ll have to do rather than stay depressed, but I’m wondering is Detrol going to be as effective?

Hi,

I didn't know Enablex could cause depression, I'm on it for almost a year now and I finally feel like I have a chance to live a life that's not controlled by my bladder. For me, it was a major improvement over Detrol but then again, if you can't take Enablex, Detrol should be effective enough to give you better bladder control.

Most people usually say Enablex works better than Detrol, but what's the most important part - it does help to eliminate overactive bladder symptoms and if nothing else, it's less expensive.
