Hello! I have noticed that my little daughter has swollen glands in cheek! She has just gotten over a sore throat. I am afraid it could be mumps! Could it be?

Hello! You haven’t specified anything else, so it is quite hard to say. Glands usually enlarge during a cold, and you said that she was just abit sick. The thing is that glands stay swollen a bit after the cold is gone, so it is probably just that. In case, they don’t go down, here are some of the mumps symptoms, but it would be better if you took her to a pediatrician. Mumps main symptoms are: fever, swollen, painful salivary glands, stiff neck, headache, loss of appetite, dry mouth, dehydration, difficulty swallowing, sore throat, weakness and vomiting.
