Hello, I am a 17 year old girl with no previous health issues.  I have recently found a swollen hard lump on the back of my neck, its located on the Occipital part of my head right at the bottom of my skull and right were my neck starts on the hairline.  It also doesn't really move, but doesn't feel as solid as a bone so its kinda rubbery I would say.  I don't believe it's growing but I only found it four days ago randomly when I was scratching my head.  I am not really having any symptoms except for an occasional dripping in the back of my throat and i feel kinda out of it lately, like I have an alcohol buzz.  I am on Minocycline for acne and one of the side effects is possible swollen lymph nodes..could this have any relation to it?  I also have impacted wisdom teeth that I am set to have taken out the 28th of December so it's not to far away if this is causing my problems.  My school nurse told me it was nothing that i should worry about, it could most likely be in an infection..but I'm really concerned it's way worse than that.  I'm probably being paranoid but who wouldn't be with a random bump on the back of their head.  Any suggestions as to what might be going on?  I'm really worried about it, and losing sleep over it.  The only reason I think it's bothering me so much is because I think about it constantly, so any information would help and be appreciated.  Thanks.
