Swollen temples issue

hello people. Anyone find out what is problem. swollen temple, edema on one side of face. same us above?? come one? please? my boyfriend, 37 same problems. he is in hospital right now., nobody knows what is reason for this lump on left temple, and edema on eye(comes and goes). this happening for 2 weeks now.

Same thing happened to me. Both my temples are swollen and it only occurred immediately after I had a full body massage that released toxins in my body a little over a month ago. I just wish it would go back to normal. I don't look the same anymore, it has changed my whole appearance and I don't like it!

Swollen temples issue,,,i have had this condition now for many years its not nice as it affects my going out in public and every day life really ,,have been Maxillofacial clinick but the consultant i saw was use less ,,so this goes on can eny one help ...

I have had the same thing.  But my tempkes are even bigger now.  They thought it was temporal arteitis but it is not...i had brain surgery fir anuerism 7 months ago but tempkes were swelled for a few years now.  Did anyone get a diagnosis?  Anyone taking blood pressure meds like diOvan?  Trying to find a common thing

My doctor ordered an MRI and I had high resolution CAT scan of my jaw sent me to ENT and to the dentist, I had one side of my temple swollen and eye pain and itchy eyes. He also put me food elimination diet

This is possibility of another reason could it be grinding or clenching your teeth and a mouth guard might help.

For me it was an sinus infection that was pretty bad, so I had sinus surgery some help but not gone the dentist found with a hidden infection so that was cleaned out.
. I always think heat cures infections so I use the sauna.While I'm watch TV I plug in the heat pad with castor oil a drop of tea tree oil on the area with heating pad
to help it drain.

One ore thing worth researching is dental cavitation's, or jaw infection finding a
dentist that is specialized in a task, I found a holistic dentist that was a dental cavitations
expert , Also a bone infection is hard to get diagnosed

Lump in jaw right side, right eye is dry I had a rash on the right side of neck, right temple swollen I I saw like five dentists and five doctor. They all had idea, it is muscle issue from grinding teeth.... Oh, it's acid reflex... Oh. it's charley horse...Oh it's just clenching , Oh it's hormones unless you have x-ray vision you cannot see what is going on inside. The doctors are having Rastafarian attitude type ...".hey no big deal go with flow ....don't worry be happy attitude!" LOL
The smart doctor order and MRI and said , let's biopsy it that is the only way to know for sure! Ok, if I'm the doctor I would do head MRI or high resolution ultrasound and I would do an biopsy ...that way I have something to go on . So be your own advocate and be persistent and it is your health, your life

Sounds like sinus infection or jaw bone infection which is hard to diagnose. I
think they treatment is iv antibiotics or long term antibiotics .
Could it be the vagus nerve make sure you do not have pinched nerve.
I read a case where some lost their sight the it was the optic nerve it was pinched the chiropractor too car of it

It's maybe a parotid cyst or tumor? Because of the swollen knot under your left ear? Was your problem ever diagnosed?

My husband is experiencing the same thing, whenever he chews on nuts especially, it swells up and then goes away, so strange... he is going to the doctor tomorrow, ill keep posting!

Are you on any antidepressants or antipsychotics?
