I just had mine removed yesterday (11-16-16) and the biggest things I'm dealing with is doing like crazy,  the swollen uvula,  and not being able to eat or drink without pain. My doctor came in after my surgery to tell my boyfriend my anenoids were as big a my tonsils (so very large). I've gotta see, I could talk fine after I woke up but once I was headed home, I couldn't. I realize that recovery is different for everyone but how long until I'm not salivating so bad anymore?
