Throat cancer often happens to people that are older than 45 years of age and that usually smoke. The throat cancer is very dangerous and it need immediate medical attention. I think that your partner will have problems with swallowing along with a lot of pin in the throat. Also he will have a feeling that something is stuck in his throat all the time. You have to talk to him and tell him to see a doctor and to run some test in order to be sure what is the main cause of his throat problem.
