When I got off of the depo shot I lactated scared the c**p out of me but my doctor said that it and sore nipples are normal when coming off of it, because your hormones are all out of whack.

I am a 47 , I had my uterus removed when I was 30 but still have my ovaries..My breast have been very sore for over a week. I dont bleed because i have no uterus and I know I am definetely not pregnant...I am wondering if this is a sign of menapouse....It is very frustrating not bleeding because I dont know if my periods are irregular..because i have my ovaries i still go through the hormonal chenges...It has been so long since I had a period I dont even remeber the symptoms..now I know the breast get sore before the period...I have also been getting bad headaches and naseau...Is this also a sign of pms...

I'm 21, I'm a lesbian so there is for sure no chance that I am going to have a baby, but it has gotten to the point where even wearing clothes is killing my nipples, and not even just that but the area of the breast that surrounds the aureola. It's just my one breast too, not both, I'm really scared that there may be a serious problem! Anyone one else finding it in just one breast?

Those bumps on or around your nipples are normal. They are call Montgomery Glands. As far as the soreness, I'm trying to figure out why the hurt too. I'm 18 and my breasts are still small and I'm hoping they grow like normal women's sometime soon. It's intimidating having small breasts. It makes me so uncomfortable.

Alright the reason they are sore is simply hormones. Between cycles we ovulate our hormones go up. They go down then back up before your cycle begins. The small bumps that look like they have a white like looking top to it are mammary glands. Your supposed to have those. To help with the soreness I recommend water based unscented lotion and massage. It'll be sore but doing this a few times a day will make you less sensative. I was on the depo shot too. Only got it once in Nov. of 2013 and it is now February of 2015 and I still don't have my period, nipples are very sensitive and sore. The white spots on them are normal but I have no idea why I haven't had my period or why my nipples hurt!

My nipples been very sore been peeing alot and baby barfing and my period one day late I took a test this morning but it came back negative ... I guess ill have to wait and see if it comes if not then I guess take another test
