Hi, about a month ago I started using BC for the first time. In the 3rd week of my pack I had some sort of skin infection and so started taking antibiotics. After the first day of using the antibiotics I experienced some spotting, then after another 2 days it turned into a normal period. I'm aware that antibiotics cancel out the effects of BC pills, which is how I've concluded that I got my period as soon as I got on the antibiotics... But my concern is that I only used the antibiotics for 4 days, and yet I'm now on my 13th day of my period :| it just won't go away. Before using BC my period was never longer than 5 days. Why am I still getting my period? The antibiotics couldn't still be in my system could they? :| I was suppose to start taking the sugar pills yesterday but I started a new pack of actives in the hope that my period will just go away!! Anyone have any advice? Ideas? Please help!
