Hi, I am 46 years old and I was planning to make LASIK surgery in the next few months but my ophthalmologist told me that my cornea it very thin and he is not sure if such operation would give good results. I was little confused when he told me that so I don’t know if it would be clever to proceed with LASIK operation.

Hi, my friend also gives up from LASIK because her cornea was too thin for such operation. Her doctors explained to her that thin cornea don’t make enough space for such procedure because flap which would be removed from cornea to improve her vision may be not enough to achieve best results. It may even bring her in position that she would need transplantation of cornea. If you are in similar position I would suggest you to give up from such surgical procedure.
