Someone please help! I'm 38 y/o make with history of a fracture to the t11/t12 transverse process, approximately 12 years ago. In 2007, I had an MRI completed which revealed a nerve root cyst at the same levels. About 1-2 weeks ago I started having severe pain in my back, which seemed to be around tge t-11/12 area. Now the pain radiates to the right side of my chest, and I feel "popping" from my ribs, almost as if they were popping in & out of place. I also have the same feeling in my back. I've had a CT scan of the abdomen, which was normal. The pain is pain I've never experienced before. In the ER I was given 5mg diluaded IM, with no relief at all. All the NAAIDS & narcotic pain medication doesn't touch the pain. It's gotten to the point that I'm unable to get out of bed on my own, and I have no social life at all. Any help is sincerely appreciated.
