About five and a half months ago I woke with a choking sensation, I wasn't choking though it just felt real thick; it continued for five days I finally went to the ER were they did a CT and found that I have a mass on my vocal cord so they blamed the choking sensation on that, I was put on steroids, did not help, The ENT Dr. says "everything looks normal but we need to do a biopsy which we did last week, I told him that sometimes sucking on something sour helps and chewing spearment gum helps alleviate the symptoms, some days it doesn't bother me at all and then there will be days that it just won't stop he told me it sounds like I have an infection in my salvatory glands and can be fixed with antibiotics well my follow up is Wednesday which also happens to be the last day of my Insurance.
I refuse to believe that you can live your whole life normal and then all of a sudden wake up one day and have this problem; there is a cure, I just keep talking to people someone at some point will know.

Hi Laura, I'm not sure that it is but I think that what you've got could be related to something I had, which is GAD. I have anxiety that's very bad, and it makes my throat feel like it's going to close up. DOes that sound plausible to you at all?
