despite many tests no problem could be found i have had full thyroidectomy 2 years ago and radium treatment ever since i am prone to any virus or cold going round i feel this is not right

Is this external radiation treatment or radioactive iodine therapy? If you are using radioactive iodine therapy this might cause your body to be affected with all the colds. However your thyroidectomy was two years ago. Your immune system is not functioning very well. The most of the radioactive thyroid should be gone through your urine, but if some is left in your body it may be causing the problems that you are experiencing now. In my opinion you should do some blood tests and you can do urine test as well. Talk to your doctor about this. Your body is not functioning very good and you need to bust your immunity. Try to take vitamin C supplements
