Hi I am having these same problems and I am a 12 year old male. It has really been bothering me for the past year... I lost my father about a year and 6 months ago. I am wondering if it is just anxiety but I have seen Many doctors and nothing seems to be wrong. I constantly feel dizzy, tired, lightheaded and I get headaches all the time. I feel terrible every single day.. The only time I feel comfortable is when I am around my girlfriend.

Have you ever had your thyroid checked? I had crazy things happening to my body for years. It started with indigestion, weird headaches, becoming very irritable, not feeling like myself at all. Being tired, no energy feeling like the bus ran me over. Then my muscles started to hurt all the time. Then I had this cough and hoarseness in my voice at times that wouldn't go away. They tried to tell me it was allergies. Well years later I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer. They even did tests on my thyroid but unfortunately the numbers always came back in range. You might not have thyroid cancer but your thyroid controls so many things in your body you take for granted. Metabolisim, blood pressure, breathing, heart rate. Digestion issues, IBS syndrome hair loss, itchy skin, sleep problems these can all be linked back to your thyroid. Feeling anxiety or depression. See a doctor don't given up fighting for yourself, you know when something isn't right. So many doctors are to quick to think that young people don't get sick or get cancer. In on way I was happy they found that I had cancer because then I knew for all those years when I'm sure my doctor thought I was crazy for going there so many times with some new thing so when they finally figured it out I knew I wasn't crazy and that I was right all along that something was wrong.

I have good news, bad news and promising news.

First the bad news, I had and still have these issues on occasion.

Good news, I narrowed it down to food sensitivities.  Pay close attention to to what you've eaten that day, restrict it from your diet, then re-incorporate it again a couple of weeks later and see the symptoms come back.

I found over a period of time that I have especially strong reactions to any milk or milk derivatives(even synthezied)...so milk, cream, milk fat(which should have very little milk protiens in it), lactose, and to lesser extents: lactic acid, potassium and calcium lactate(additives in lunch/cured meats) and various lactylates

Im also sensitive to artifical food colors and some fruits.

Promising news:

It seems long term exposure to allergens, In my case indoor cats which I had for 18yrs, may have left me in such a chronic state of allergic response that it made me a hyper-sensitive to certain things that would normally cause little to reaction under normal circumstances.

After seeing an allergist, being diagnosis with and treated for chronic rhinitis and moving the cats outdoors, I found over time that my sensitivities to all but the milk has been significantly reduce or eliminated.  Even milk doesnt wreck me like before.

So in summary, determine if you have an allergy, remove it from your life, treat the allergy.  Hopefully your hyper-active immune system settles down and you'll find yourself less sensitive or eliminating all together your body's excessive response to things...and God willing, your life returns back something resembling normal.

Final note:

If you find your symptoms tend to become stronger shortly before a bowel movement and improve after, then its likly something you are eating...eliminate it from your diet...at least until your system dials down from the main antagonist.

Dear Mom. I know what you are going through. I am a single Mom and I have been going through this for years. I have been to every doctor imaginable. I did h have the Hpyloria bacteria in my stomach. I take medicine it clears up but keeps coming back. All of you guys get checked for Parasites. They can make you feel awful. Clean your colon! Before or during a bowel movement I was feeling horrible like I would pass out. Or the nausea would hit me and make me feel oh so bad. It was a bacteria infection. Stress from bills, kids, work, and not knowing why you feel bad can also have you feeling ill. Stress kills!

I have some of your symptoms, and after going to ER and Urgent Care, and them checking my vitals and finding nothing wrong, I typed my symptoms online, and it showed up as dehydration, but I also found out that drinking plenty of water did not help this, and that it's possible to have too little sodium and electrolytes in the blood, so I mixed about 3 scoops of PowerAde (Gatorade did not help me), and shook a good amount of salt in it, and INSTANTLY, I felt 100% better, but I'm still struggling with it, and just finding out what my body responds to, like orange juice, red meat, distilled water with added electrolytes, bananas, chocolate, and of course the PowerAde mix. I pray you feel better soon, and I will continue to research my symptoms and bug those doctors until I know what's wrong and the proper treatment for it. Good luck!

Perhaps see a neurologist if you haven't already. He or she would particularly be interested in the fact that you tend to lose your balance easily (something I get asked when I see my doc). Neurologist would also know if you need an MRI.

I believe the issue is caffeine withdrawal. I'm a soda freak and I always have this, I recommend quitting on caffiene, and see if that helps.

I have been experiencing lightheadedness all day long. I went to the hospital for a numb lower left leg. The doctors said they can't find anything wrong. They did not say anything about my lightheadedness. I am confused. What is wrong?
