Normally within a few days to a week its almost back to normal. It might be worth speaking with whoever done it, to see what they say.

With tongue piercings, you should already have an unswollen tongue. At this point I think that it might be a bit of an issue. I would recommend seeing a doctor about it because it does not sound normal! Have you experienced any other symptoms aside from it being big, or is that the only issue? In addition, your tongue is constantly being exposed to all types of bacteria thru foods, overnight buildup etc. Because of this, and because you must feel that your tongue should have healed by now, you should get to a specialist right away. Educate yourself about the effects of piercing, especially soft tissue. I know that it's popular, but you should always consider all of the what ifs.
