I'm a 49-year old female & had a tonsillectomy on 3/9/07. The pain hasn't been all THAT bad, but after six days, I began having constant nausea. Some wretching, no vomiting - wish I could. Now that much of the swelling has subsided, I can feel stuff in my throat - I guess it's the scabs. That's part of the nausea, but if I don't move my mouth or body & don't talk, I'm still nauseous. I cut out the meds the first day of nausea, just on Tylenol, maybe once a day. If this keeps up, I don't know how I'm going to go back to work in the 2-week time frame. All I can do to feel better is sleep and I'm not getting much of that. Getting up and around doesn't help. Anyone else have this problem with nausea?

I have been feeling nauseous. For me it started on the 4 day and then it went away. Today on my 9th day I started feeling nauseous again. The scabs are driving me crazy and my uvula is finally starting to return to it's normal size but not 100% there.

I am a Forty two year old female and I am on day 21 after surgery. I was back to work on the 10th day. I am really feeling tired and up set all the time after eating. Which isn't much. I can't help but think something is wrong.
