I am 31 years old with two children married 11 years, we know for a fact that we do not want anymore children at all and I went to my GYN to discuss a tubal and talk about heavy periods with labor intesity cramping- cramps last 3 weeks. He gave me the option for a tuabl w/ablation or a hystercetomy - leaving ovaries in place. I immediatly said a tubal...now I am wondering if I should just go for a hyst. I have got to do something about the cramps as they have gotten worse and worse and are affecting my life too much. I am looking for some ideas about others who have made this desicion... What would you suggest. I am healthy, only issue being overweight, I am working on that but this is taking it toll on my weight as it is hard to work out when you are taking oxy just to be. How much time would be needed of work( I have a desk job) for a hyst? I do not want to have a procedure in another few years b/c this did not work like I wanted!
