I had my tubes done many years ago, and i was not happy with the results. Please don't take my experience personnel as many many women have had success with this procedure. I was 37 when i had mine done, my periods were never the same again. They were very irratic and i could never figure out when they were coming. I began to suffer with horrible cramps and when it finally showed up, i passed clots the size of golf balls. I would bloat up and i looked like i was 6 months pregnant, my cloths wouldn't fit right just before it came and my back would ache like a toothache. I started to get acne again and the mood swings were ridiculous. I never had this before the procedure, aside from some mild PMS, which was tolerable.

I started menopause at 47 and it seemed like it took forever for me to get thru it, i don't know if the tubal helped that or hindered it. I hope some other women will put in their opinion, as i am just one person, we are all different.
