My last period was in October. November was somewhat normal in that I had bloating, cramps and cravings. The problem is that it never stopped. It kept going just lighter, without pain and any other signs. I sometimes still have clots but they are very small. Sometimes the bleeding stops for a few hours but it always comes back. It has never stopped for more than 5 hours. I am planning on going to the doctor but at this moment I do not have one since I have not long ago moved. Can anybody give me some information about what could be going on? Thank you.

One thing is crtain. ANy woman with abnormal bleeding should be examined . And two months of regular bleeding would be called abnormal.

There could be a hormonal problem, some kind of laceration within vagina, inflamed cervix or it could be some kind of uterine bleeding and even malignancy.

To know for sure, you would have to make that appointment.

Hormonal problems can cause this type of bleeding, and sometimes healthy women will have hormonal imbalances or issues with their uterus.

Cervical dysplasia can sometimes cause spotting and bleeding.
